Dr. Lili Wagner has been providing mental health care for almost 20 years and has been a Licensed Psychologist in California with her own practice since 2003. Dr. Wagner specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Integrative Therapy, EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and utilization of Ecopsychology (getting out in nature via Walk-n-Talks) and Integrative Psychology. She is also a Health & Behavior Coach, an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, a Certified Primal Health Coach as well as a Mental Health Consultant to various companies, including several Skilled Nursing Facilities in Southern California. She is an international speaker, provides wellness programs and lunch & learns for companies/corporations as well as first responders.
Her specialties include adult and geropsychology, treating eating disorders, individuals dealing with auto-immune disease, chronic disease, health concerns, trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, cancer, and end of life issues. She has helped many overcome substance abuse and addiction. Her graduate school training focused on Chemical Dependency issues. She has trained nursing staff as well as coordinated treatment plans with physicians to provide her patients with a complete and broad approach towards achieving total well-being. Dr. Wagner believes that her unique combination of Psychology, Health & Behavior Coaching can not only help her patients find inner peace and happiness, but also expand their perspectives to achieve more than they ever thought possible.
After receiving her Doctorate in Psychology, Dr. Wagner went on to acquire a Post-Doctoral Master of Science in Psychopharmacology to better understand how chemicals affect the mind. Due to her ongoing interest and intrigue about the mind-body connection, she continues to obtain and acquire knowledge and certifications for health & psychology.
Her current certifications include: Certified EMDR Therapist via EMDRIA, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Certified Primal Health Coach, Auto-immune Paleo Certified Coach, and Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. This allows her to not only assist patients in improving their mental health, but create concrete, achievable goals for personal fulfillment in their careers, families, health and personal relationships. She has a love for learning, practices mindfulness and meditation, , enjoys cooking nutrient dense meals, spending time with her co-"Dog"tor Chicken the Dog, and relaxing at the beach. She has a longstanding interest in how the mind and body influence each other. She enjoys going out in nature with her clients on “Walk and Talk” sessions. She loves helping people achieve a fulfilling and healthy life with tools for behavior and lifestyle changes. Due to her own battles with auto-immune disease, she particularly likes helping others with auto-immune diseases regain their joy and vitality for life. She looks forward to standing (or walking) side-by-side with you and helping you achieve love, health, and joy.
